Adult Basketball There will be Adult Basketball this Tuesday, December 30 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Anyone high school age and older are invited to come.
Annual Congregational Life Meeting The Annual Congregational Life Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 18 starting with a Potluck meal at Noon. The meeting will follow the Potluck at approximately 1:00 p.m.
If you plan to join in the meal, please bring a main dish and a salad or dessert to share.
If needed, childcare will be provided for the meeting. Please email Jennifer at: receptionist@coonrapidsfree.org with your name and number of children who will need care.
White Cross Workday Mark your calendar now for the January 17 White Cross Workday. Everyone is invited to attend and work on projects from 9:00 a.m. - Noon. The Middle and High School students will be coming to help out as a service project. (There will not be a meeting on January 13.)

Discipleship Class; Peacemakers The Peacemakers Class will be offered on Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for 10 weeks starting on January 11. There is a $3 cost for materials.
Discipleship Class: Revelation Have you ever studied the Book of Revelation? Whether you have or have not...everyone agrees it is one of the most challenging parts of the Bible. Beginning January 4, Pastor Ronn will lead a study in Revelation each Sunday night from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in rm. 202. The class is open to anyone who is interested, but please sign up if you will need childcare.
Women's Bible Study A new Women’s Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, February 17. The group will be studying Charles Stanley’s book on the Holy Spirit. This 10 week class will meet on Tuesdays (except the second Tuesday of the month due to White Cross Workday). Please contact the church office (767-4111) by January 26 to sign up or for more information.
Child Abuse Prevention Training If you volunteer, or plan to help with any ministry involving children (birth -high school) you must participate in a Child Abuse Prevention (C.A.P.) training session. Due to new material being presented, all volunteers will need to attend, even if you have done so in the past. A training session will be held on Monday, January 11 at 10:30 a.m. Please contact the office to sign up for the session.
Cans for Camp To support our summer camp scholarships, we are collecting empty, rinsed and crushed aluminum pop cans for recycling. They are collected the first Sunday of each month. Please drop off your bagged cans outside on the east side of the building (where the drive splits). Thank you for supporting this program.
Al-Anon Meetings Al-Anon meetings are held weekly at the church. If someone's alcoholism is a concern for you, this is a great opportunity for support. The meetings are held in room 217 at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays.
Narcotics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous Meetings are held weekly at the church. This support group meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 P.M. in room 217.
